Arthur Fulton

Arthur Fulton, originally from San Francisco, got into making electronic music through collecting vintage synthesizers and drum machines. His sound is shaped by everything from unforgettable clubbing experiences in Berlinʻs techno scene, to his lifelong passion for reggae and dub music inherited from his father.

He has played records at parties in Hawaii and is friends with many DJs and the promoters and owners of the main underground nightclubs there, Next Door and old school UK DJ Harveyʻs disco club, 39 Hotel. Needless to say, Honoluluʻs small disco and deep house community has had a huge impact on his style.

After discovering Ableton Live, he found that it was as fun to use as hardware and more flexible so he narrowed down his studio to just a few pieces. And working with Ludovic Vendi under the alias « Homework » the duo produced several tracks which actually started out as a tutorial to teach Arthur Ableton.

Check out his tracks on Sonat in the near future.
